The Last Things That Went Through My Mind

Beautiful yellow the sun that is shining
Beautiful blue in the sky overhead
Beautiful green in the grass all around me
Beautiful red from the hole in my head

Interesting life that delivered me this far
Interesting death that will carry me home
Interesting bed sheet that covers my body
Interesting bullet that shattered my dome

Uplifting music can raise high your spirit
Uplifting song rising high as a dove
Uplifting men wearing uniformed jackets
Uplifting me to the stretcher above

Tragedy seeming to always surround me
Tragedy ending when heart stops to beat
Tragedy displayed on film at eleven
Tragedy over in less than a week

Agony only for those that may like me
Agony weeping and gnashing in Hell
Agony it should have happened much sooner
Agony ending the second I fell
